The cottage

A cosy little house in the heart of old Luc

Set within a beautifully renovated 1830 farmhouse, the Gîte du Point du Jour is a charming cottage for 4 guests (2 adults and 2 children). A large glass bay window opens onto the lovely enclosed shared garden, just 800 metres from the sea. Adult and children's bikes, a child trailer and scooters are available free of charge to explore the coast and surroundings.

Room by room

A private terrace with garden table and chairs is reserved for you within the shared garden — a lovely enclosed green space, perfect for children.

A plancha grill and barbecue are available for warm summer evenings.

Adult bikes (mountain bike and city bike), children's bikes with helmets, a child trailer and scooters are all available free of charge to explore the area.

The bright living area (~20 m²) features a large bay window overlooking the garden, a sofa, armchairs and a dining table for 4.

The vintage-style kitchen has everything you need: mini oven / microwave, filter coffee maker and Senseo, kettle, toaster, vacuum cleaner, full tableware and picnic dishes.

The bathroom has a bathtub, walk-in shower and hairdryer. Separate WC.

On the landing: two single bunk beds for children, a sofa and a toy chest — a cosy nook under the roof.

The main bedroom (~16 m²) has a 160 cm double bed, wardrobe and desk.

✅ Beds will be made on arrival. Bed linen, bath towels and kitchen towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels!

Perfect house for 2 adults + 2 children. Beautiful garden. Ideal base for the D-Day beaches, Bayeux, Caen… The bikes even took us all the way to Caen!
